Tips to Keep in Mind When Writing Your Resume
Given that there are 72,000 job vacancies up for grabs, applicants can expect thousands of Filipinos to flock to these job fairs which are essentially their competition. With this in mind, it is important for applicants to do their best to stand out from the rest.
How so? One way is to keep the dos and don’ts of resume writing in mind while working on the important document. These include being mindful of grammar and typographical errors and always being honest with the information being put. On the other hand, applicants should avoid include using selfies as the resume photo and putting too much unnecessary information.
It is also good practice to tailor resumes to fit the company and job vacancy being applied for. This helps the applicant stand out as the well-suited candidate by highlighting the experience and skills that are most relevant to the job.
Should an applicant feel like he or she still lacks in the skills department, there is always the option of expanding one’s knowledge through online classes.
