Digital Advertising Company Appoints New Chair

The company’s new chairperson has over 30 years of transformative leadership in the Philippine advertising industry.

Hepmil Philippines, a leader in digital advertising and the creator economy, has appointed Joanna Chan Mojica as Chairperson of the Board. Mojica has previously worked with the likes of Jollibee, Unilever, Unilab, CDO, and Century Pacific Food, alongside agency partners such as Publicis Groupe and GroupM.

In her new role, Mojica will advise and report directly to Hepmil Media Group CEO Karl Mak. She will likewise partner closely with Erwin Razon, General Manager of Hepmil Philippines.

“Joanna brings unmatched expertise and a legacy of leadership to our team,” Razon said of the new chairperson. “Her strategic vision aligns perfectly with our mission to innovate and grow in this dynamic industry.”

Who is Joanna Chan Mojica? 

Known for her data-driven strategies and visionary leadership, Mojica has shaped the industry’s evolution. The depth of her experiences has been shaped by her past roles, including as Connexion Head at Unilab Inc., Chief Media Officer at Dentsu Aegis Network Philippines, and CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group.

She was also previously the Investment Head of GroupM and held Media Director roles in MindShare and J. Walter Thompson. 

Her vision for Hepmil’s future

Hepmil Philippines’ success and rapid ascent are evident in its expanding workforce as the headcount is set to surpass 100 full-time employees by the end of 2025. The company’s collaborations with clients such as Unilab and Century Pacific Food have cemented its reputation as a creative and strategic force in the industry. 

Hepmil’s innovative campaigns have received recognition and accolades, such as the award-winning Generation Joy program with Jollibee, which won at the 60th Anvil Awards. Mojica’s appointment as chairperson is a strategic one for the company as it drives the next chapter of growth in the Philippines’ digital advertising and creator economy.
