The panel will bring together three distinct Filipino voices from different industries: Fintech, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), and Food. These marketing trailblazers will discuss and dissect the role of culture in building successful and globally resonant brands.
Joining this session are Neil Trinidad, Chief Marketing Officer of GCash; Dennis Perez, Head of Marketing, Philippines & Marketing Transformation Lead, Greater Asia – Beauty & Well-Being at Unilever; and Baken Founder and CEO Rachel Carrasco.
Neil Trinidad
As the Chief Marketing Officer of GCash, the Philippines’ leading finance super app and largest cashless ecosystem, Neil Trinidad spearheads marketing and communication strategies to amplify GCash’s innovative products and its mission of enhancing everyday lives for Filipinos. Under his leadership, GCash has achieved significant milestones, including record-high brand equity and recognition as Kantar BrandZ’s most valuable Filipino financial services brand.

Prior to joining GCash, Neil served as Chief Marketing Officer at Lazada Philippines, where he accelerated e-commerce growth and was honored as the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards Chief Marketing Communications Officer of the Year in 2021. His extensive experience also includes roles at Google Philippines and Unilever, managing over 15 brands such as Dove, Rexona, and Pond’s. Additionally, Neil co-founded The Feel Good Food Group, an e-commerce health food delivery business.
Trinidad has been recognized in Campaign Asia-Pacific’s prestigious Power List for three consecutive years.
Dennis Perez
Dennis Perez is a seasoned marketing leader with close to 25 years at Unilever, where he has played pivotal roles in driving digital transformation and integrated marketing strategies across Southeast Asia. As Head of Marketing for Unilever Philippines and Marketing Transformation Lead for Greater Asia in Beauty & Well-Being, he leads the demand creation function for the company’s beauty and well-being portfolio, encompassing hair care, skin care, and wellness categories.

Under his leadership, Unilever Philippines achieved significant accolades at the Marketing Excellence Awards Philippines 2024, including “Marketer of the Year” and multiple gold, silver, and bronze awards for campaigns such as ‘#BoostedForMore: Cream Silk Welcomes its NEW Vitamin Boost Conditioners’ and ‘#EnterYourRadiantGirlEra with Dove Deo.’
Perez is also an active industry advocate, having served as the President of the Internet & Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines and as co-chairman of the Digital Measurement Board of the Philippines.
A licensed Chemical Engineer, Dennis combines his technical background with a passion for storytelling and digital innovation.
Rachel Carrasco
Rachel Carrasco is an entrepreneur and marketing strategist known for her innovative approach to branding and product development. She is the founder and CEO of Baken, a premium snack brand specializing in all-bacon products, including crisps, jam, and cookies. Launched in 2018, Baken has expanded its reach to markets in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
Prior to Baken, Rachel founded Rache, a Singapore-based experience and marketing company, in 2017. Under her leadership, Rache collaborated with luxury brands such as Diageo, TWG Tea, and Hilton Luxury Group.

Rachel’s entrepreneurial journey began after relocating from the Philippines to Singapore, where she worked with multinational corporations including the Royal Bank of Scotland, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and Kimberly-Clark. Her diverse background in luxury, lifestyle, and FMCG has equipped her with a unique perspective on building globally resonant brands.
With the theme “Building Brands That Move the Nation Forward,” the first-ever BrandCon PH focuses on the intersection of brand longevity, innovation, sustainable growth, and nation-building.
