Philippine Retailers Association Receives the Business Catalyst Award at The Business Manual CEO Awards 2025

The Business Manual honors the the Philippine Retailers Association during its second CEO Awards. 

This year, The Business Manual is proud to hold its second CEO Awards. With the theme “Honoring Industry Disruptors,” the CEO Awards 2025 honors visionary leaders who are reshaping business landscapes, pushing boundaries, challenging the norm, and setting new standards of success. 

The Business Catalyst Award 

The Business Manual CEO Awards 2025 likewise recognizes business organizations that have demonstrated exceptional commitment in supporting and empowering Filipino entrepreneurs with its Business Catalyst Award. 

The CEO Awards 2025 presents the Business Catalyst Award to the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA). The Business Manual recognizes the PRA as one of this year’s three outstanding business organizations that have contributed to the growth of Philippine enterprises through fostering innovation, creating opportunities, and enabling the growth of small and medium enterprises. 

Representing Over 400 Member Companies

Previously known as the Chamber of Philippine Department Stores and Retailers, Inc. (CPDSRI), the PRA is known as the “Pulse and Voice of the Philippine Retail Industry.” It is home to over 400 member companies, including retailers, distributors, wholesalers, mall and shopping center operators, and many more. 

Helping Retailers in the Philippines Become Globally Competitive

With its mission of empowering members to become globally competitive, the FRA regularly holds events and seminars that seek to strengthen their capabilities and provide opportunities for growth, such as the Retail Leaders Summit and Retail Master Class.

Recognizing the retail industry’s role as one of the country’s biggest employers, the PRA holds The PRA Career Expo for those who want to explore a career in retail. Members looking to fill various levels and positions have the opportunity to meet and hire qualified candidates looking for employment. 

Honoring Excellence Within the Industry

The PRA is likewise strongly committed to recognizing and honoring outstanding retailers through the Outstanding Filipino Retailers (OFR) Awards. The OFR Awards celebrates retailers that have shaped and set the benchmark in the Philippine retail industry. 

Awards and Accolades

The PRA’s significant contributions to the growth and success of the Philippine retail industry has been celebrated with awards and accolades through the years. Most notably, the PRA won the KALAKBAY Award (National Tourism Award) for Event of the Year for its hosting of The 6th Asian Retailers Convention and Exhibition (6th ARCE). 

The association has also been honored with the Industry Development Award and the Industry Service Award by the Ang Susi Awards of the Philippine Council of Associations and Association Executives (PCAAE). In addition, its 40th anniversary publication titled Legends, Lives, & Legacies received the Gold Anvil Award from the Anvil Awards.
