15 Best Workplaces in the Philippines: 2023 Edition

The companies were ranked by Linkedin based on different criteria, including gender diversity, company stability, and an employee’s ability to advance.

With businesses recovering from the aftermath of the pandemic, optimism about the Philippines’ job market has increased to 66% for the first half of 2023, based on a survey of 438 local firms in its “2022-2023 Outlook-Hiring, Compensation and Benefits Report”—collated by online job platform Jobstreet. This is higher than the 41% recorded in the second half of last year.

“In general, things are looking up for the employment market in the Philippines. The majority of employers in the Philippines are optimistic about hiring in [the first half of] 2022,” the Jobstreet report said, but did not provide an explanation for the improvement in the outlook.

Moreover, the report added that 49% of these companies stated that hiring plans were back to pre-pandemic levels, with another 30% saying that it would normalize by June 2023. Meanwhile, another 10% forecast the recovery to happen by July and in the succeeding months.

That being said, LinkedIn released its list of 15 best workplaces to grow your career in the country for 2023 in a list best known as the LinkedIn Top Companies list. “Our 3rd annual LinkedIn Top Companies list is the resource to find the 15 best Philippine workplaces to grow your career right now,” says LinkedIn

“The methodology looks at components like how employees are advancing both within a company and when they leave, how they’re upskilling while employed there, and more—revealing companies that help set people up to get ahead in their careers,” it adds.
