Vingroup Receives First-Class Labor Order in Vietnam
The completion of the National Exhibition and Convention Center sets a new benchmark in Vietnam’s construction sector.
Vingroup, one of the largest conglomerates in Vietnam, has been honored with the First-Class Labor Order in recognition of its exceptional achievements in developing the National Exhibition and Convention Center.
The honor was conferred during the inauguration and groundbreaking of National Projects marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2, held at the site of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in the Tu Lien Bridge area, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
Vingroup is a driving force behind Vietnam’s modernization. It develops entire ecosystems of housing, malls, schools, hospitals, and leisure hubs that reshape consumer lifestyles and raise living standards. Through VinFast, it positions Vietnam as an emerging innovation hub with global ambitions, moving beyond real estate into high-tech industries. As one of the Vietnam’s largest employers, it invests in education and research to nurture local talent and reduce brain drain. Closely aligned with government priorities, Vingroup plays a pivotal role in Vietnam’s socio-economic development,
The prestigious award honors Vingroup’s breakthrough efforts and determination in completing the project 15 months ahead of schedule and making a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the capital city and the nation.

“Receiving the First-Class Labor Order at the inauguration of the National Exhibition and Convention Center is a profound honor and pride for all Vingroup employees,” said Vingroup CEO and Vice Chairman Nguyen Viet Quang.
“We are committed to continuing our spirit of perseverance and determination to operate the Center successfully, contributing to making Hanoi and Vietnam leading destinations for world-class political, economic, cultural, and social events,” he added.

A Premier International Destination for Global Trade Fairs and Exhibitions
A state-level key project, the National Exhibition and Convention Center is ranked among the top 10 largest exhibition centers in the world. With a total area of 900,000 square meters, it is envisioned to become a premier international destination for global trade fairs and exhibitions, as well as a symbol of Hanoi’s development.
Construction of the National Exhibition and Convention Center began on August 30, 2024. To maximize resources, Vingroup proactively developed detailed construction plans and coordinated manpower, equipment, and materials, ensuring seamless supply chain management across multiple contractors.
The site was handed over on June 27, 2025, after only 10 months of construction.
A key driver that fueled this construction milestone is the National Achievements Exhibition – 80 Years of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness, which took place from August 28 to September 5. The national-scale exhibition brought together all provinces, ministries, sectors, and enterprises across Vietnam.
National Exhibition and Convention Center Key Features
The National Exhibition and Convention Center features a comprehensive exhibition ecosystem that includes four outdoor plazas (East, West, South, North), the VinPalace International Convention Center, landscaped green parks and lakes, and large-scale parking facilities.
The VinPalace International Convention Center, in particular, is suited for large-scale exhibitions and events, such as concerts, national festivals, and global technology showcases. The Center meets the highest international standards and is poised to redefine Vietnam’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.

At the heart of the National Exhibition and Convention Center is the Kim Quy Exhibition Hall, the world’s largest circular exhibition hall. With an area of over 130,000 square meters and a central height of 56 meters, it is inspired by the sacred Golden Turtle God (Kim Quy) of the Co Loa legend.
The successful completion of the National Exhibition and Convention Center demonstrates Vingroup’s strong financial capacity, professional execution, and effective project management.
It also affirms Vingroup’s commitment to serving Vietnam’s interests as a nation, as well as the strength of Vietnam’s private enterprises in this new era of global integration.
