The four halls of PBW 2025 showcased different real-world applications of blockchain technology, including music, gaming, and the arts.

The Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW) 2025 was held successfully from June 10 to 11 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

PBW 2025’s immersive exhibits, engaging discussions, and high-impact activations focused on blockchain technology, showcasing its real-world applications to the thousands of blockchain professionals, developers, creatives, investors, regulators, visionaries, and the rest of the audience who gathered for the event.

“PBW 2025 was more than just an event, it was a declaration that the Philippines is ready to lead in the Web3 space,” said Donald Lim, President of Blockchain Council of the Philippines and Co-Founder of PBW. “We’ve built a platform where ideas turn into action, and where innovation meets purpose.”

“What stood out this year was the strength of both the global and local communities,” Janelle Barretto, President and Co-Founder of PBW, added. “From grassroots builders to international blockchain organizations, the collaboration we saw proves that the Philippines is ramping up to be the blockchain hub of Southeast Asia.”

PBW 2025’s Four Halls

PBW 2025 featured four halls that proved to the world that the Philippines is ready to become the blockchain hub of Southeast Asia.

Hall 1, named Nexus Academia, was powered by Tier One Entertainment and showcased interactive gaming zones, and music, entertainment, and digital experiences for the attendees of the conference. The hall allowed music, gaming, arts, and entertainment to be the access point of the youth to the world of Web3 and blockchain.

Hall 2, on the other hand, housed three events, namely Chain Stars, Close Friends Only Meet-up and Bazaar, and Indie Rising. These events showcased music and dance contenders, rising indie artists, content creators, and celebrities sharing the stage with Blockchain 101 lessons.

The main conference stage was held in Hall 3, which became the venue for featured keynotes, panels, and fireside chats with world-renowned leaders. During these segments, industry leaders engaged in discussions on policy, web adoption, DeFi, AI integration, digital identity, and more.

“We’re proud of the energy, creativity, and inclusion that shaped every hall of PBW 2025,” said Chezka Gonzales, Vice President of Blockchain Council of the Philippines and Co-Founder of PBW. “From gaming to governance, this event showed how blockchain is touching real lives, and we’re just getting started.”

Building Toward Long-Term Growth

The success of this year’s PBW is a testament to the growing momentum of the Philippines as a rising blockchain hub in Southeast Asia. Its attendees, speakers, sponsors, and partners have helped create a space where opportunities crossed borders.

The team behind PBW 2025 is now looking ahead and beginning preparations for Philippine Blockchain Week 2026. Next year’s PBW promises a bigger and even more integrated event that will focus on scaling blockchain adoption across the Asia-Pacific region.

Aside from this, a dynamic series of blockchain events designed to strengthen the Philippine blockchain landscape will likewise take place in the third quarter and fourth quarter this year.
