Nissan Philippines Continues Growth Trajectory in 2024

The Japanese manufacturer intends to continue its expansion in 2025 through new dealerships and product offerings.

Nissan Philippines reports a 14% increase in retail sales for the first three quarters of 2024, maintaining its position as one of the leading contributors in the ASEAN region.

In a press statement, Nissan Philippines shared that it sold 26,000 units during the period, fueled by the launch of its refreshed models, including the Navara and Almera Sport, while other models such as the Terra, Navara, Patrol, Urvan, and Livina consistently ranked among the top 5 in their respective segments.

Aside from the continued demand for its existing models, it also offered a new model called the Z Nismo sports car, and four new dealerships nationwide, including the first ever Nissan Pop-Up Showroom in Cavite. This brings Nissan Philippines’ total to 56. More openings are planned for early 2025, including new dealerships in Sucat and Urdaneta.

“We’ve made great strides in 2024, strengthening our customer relationships and market position,” says Nissan Philippines President Yasuhisa Masuda. “We’re excited about what lies ahead in 2025.”

As it celebrated 55 years in the country, Nissan was fueled by its new brand direction, “Always Daring”, an affirmation of its commitment to constantly innovate, evolve, and strengthen customer experience and engagement.

This is evident in the Nissan Intelligent Mobility Tour, an experiential showcase that gives visitors a chance to test drive Nissan’s various vehicles and learn more about its driving innovations. The tour, which has been going strong for the past five years, is on track to complete 23 stops this year.

Looking ahead, Nissan Philippines promises to continue delivering exceptional products, services, and innovation to Filipino customers.

The country’s vehicle sales achieved a new record high of 467,252 units in 2024, a rise of 8.7%, reflecting continued consumer demand. Although it was shy of the industry’s target of 500,000 units, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) said the new high still signals sustained growth and demand for the automotive industry.
