The newly opened location is a significant milestone in MRSGI’s expansion in the Visayas.
Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) opened its newest Metro Market and Department Store in Bais City, Negros Oriental.
The official opening brought together Bais City’s top officials and MRSGI leadership, including President and COO Joel Orense, Chairperson Sherisa P. Nuesa, and Vice Chairperson Margaret Gaisano Ang.
“This launch is more than just the opening of a store; it is the beginning of a lasting partnership between Metro and the vibrant City of Bais,” said Orense.
“We are committed to becoming a meaningful part of this community by creating jobs, supporting local suppliers, and contributing to the city’s growth and prosperity,” Orense added.

Quality Affordable Products Within Reach
The newly launched Metro Market and Department Store provide Bais residents with greater accessibility to fresh food, household essentials, and lifestyle products offered at everyday low prices.
In addition, Metro Market and Department Store will work with nearby producers and vendors. This will provide new opportunities for small enterprises to reach a wider market.
