“Like most catering companies, it always starts out as a sort of ‘Mom & Pop’ kind of operation wherein all owners get their feet wet in every aspect of the operation,” shares Indulge Catering & Events Operations Director Tintin Onglatco.
“Everything started by word of mouth, which eventually led to the increase in customer curiosity and interest,” she adds. “Our clientele continued to show their delight and appreciation by referring us to their friends. This sparked the growing interest and clamor for our services.”
In order to achieve this, Indulge works closely with clients to bring its vision for events to life. It offers sophisticated and luxurious dining experiences that are deemed truly memorable by its clients and their guests.
At the heart of these experiences is delicious food from a wide variety of cuisines, including Filipino, Chinese, and Spanish, among others.
“Aside from the usual Filipino and International menu, our other unique offerings include authentic and premium dimsum and Cantonese cuisine as well as Spanish,” says Onglatco. “The R&D department of our company continues to churn out dish after dish. While the usual menu choices will be there, the goal is to create a wide variety that will be uniquely Indulge.“

“Although there are literally hundreds of caterers in the country, what needs to be addressed is the quality of food, level of service, and innovation in presentation,” Onglatco explains. “We want to give our customers the best experience both in quality and variety of food, while also pairing it with top-level service.”

In the two years Indulge Catering & Events has been in business, it has remained committed to being the top-of-mind catering partner to its growing clientele. It continues to foster innovation by providing top-notch service to accommodate the changing needs of clients and refreshing its menu.
“Having a portfolio which consists of mid to high-end customers allows us to continue with our R&D for new cuisine and specialty dishes to add to our current roster of packages,” Onglatco says. “It also accords us to develop innovation with our presentation.”
She acknowledges that while the food business may deceivingly look simple, the learning curve is not.
“Overcoming the challenges requires a quick understanding and the ability to pivot to remedy every challenge that comes our way.”
Given the challenges that come with running events-related businesses, Onglatco advises aspiring entrepreneurs to never give up, however difficult and seemingly unsurmountable obstacles may be.
“The failures that you go through will be the very factors that will build the foundational blocks to your success,” she explains.
