Jobstreet by SEEK Partners with DOLE, PRA to Redefine Career Development in PH Retail Industry
Empowering employees as well as HR professionals is at the core of these new partnerships.
Online employment platform Jobstreet by SEEK has announced its new strategic partnerships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), as well as the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA).
These partnerships aim to empower the Philippine retail industry and drive career growth within the said industry.
MOA with DOLE, PRA Signed
Jobstreet by SEEK’s partnership with DOLE was made official during the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement. This took place during the Jobstreet Career Con 2025, which was held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
DOLE Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma and Undersecretary Carmela I. Torres were present at the MOA signing. Jobstreet by SEEK’s Managing Director Dannah Majarocon and Operations Director Aki Sumulong were likewise present.
On the other hand, Jobstreet by SEEK’s one-year partnership with PRA was also formalized with the signing of a MOA. PRA Secretary General Bing S. Miranda, Membership & Marketing Officer Grace S. Reclosado, and Deputy Secretary General – Advocacy & Communications Mary Anne Sangil were present.
Jobstreet by SEEK’s Managing Director Dannah Majarocon and Head of Marketing Henry Jose Yusingco also attended the MOA signing.
What to Expect from the DOLE Partnership
As the government agency that formulates and implements programs and services for the country’s employment sector, DOLE will be collaborating with Jobstreet by SEEK to organize career conventions.
In addition, more job fairs will be organized as part of the partnership. Jobstreet by SEEK has likewise pledged support for the department’s youth employability programs through career development seminars.
Jobstreet by SEEK’s partnership is the latest addition to the platform’s partnerships with the government, which seek to help Filipinos in their career growth and development. In 2022, Jobstreet by SEEK partnered with the Philippine Civil Service Commission (CSC) in order to launch the Government Online Career Fair.
