Startup QC Cohort 4 Professional Category Extends Application Deadline

Selected early-stage startups will receive up to Php1 million in equity-free grants, among other prizes. 

Applications have been extended for the Startup QC Cohort 4 – Professional Category. The deadline for interested startups has been moved to July 11, 2025.

In line with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte’s commitment to transforming the city into the startup and innovation capital of the Philippines, Startup QC Program aims to help founders sharpen their business strategies, scale their solutions, and prepare for long-term sustainability.

Selected startups have the opportunity to receive up to Php1 million in equity-free grants, hands-on mentorship, and. capacity-building sessions. They will likewise be given access to a growing network of investors, incubators, and innovation partners.

StartUp QC Program

Since its launch in 2022, the Startup QC Program and its partner, Launchgarage Innovation Hub, have supported 16 professional startups from diverse industries, ranging from technology, sustainability, education, and the creative economy.

Designed by the QC LGU to nurture the next wave of impactful startups, the program aims to boost economic and innovation growth in the city. 

Notable alumni of the StartUp QC Program include:

  • EdukSine – an award-winning streaming platform for Filipino indie films
  • Wika Media – creators of accessible AR/VR learning tools
  • Lithos Manufacturing – a climate-tech startup providing clean water solutions to disaster-affected areas
  • Kwentoon – a digital storytelling platform for the youth, promoting literacy and Filipino culture through comics and manga
  • Hibla Ph – a culture-based fashion startup bringing Philippine weaves to the global stage
  • NYHA Robotics – a social impact venture making STEM education more inclusive through localized robotics kits and teacher training programs

Where to Apply 

The Startup QC Cohort 4 – Professional Category is open to early-stage startups registered in the Philippines. These startups offer innovative solutions with strong market potential and measurable impact.

Application submissions can be made through the Quezon City eServices portal. More information on the application process may be found through the portal as well.
