SM Supermalls Supports Local SMEs, Artists with SM Art Market in 13 Malls Nationwide

SM Art Market provides a boost to the nation’s creative talent and SMEs, continuing SM Supermalls’ collaboration with over 500 local artists.

From July 31 to October 10 SM Supermalls will be holding SM Art Market in 13 of its malls across the country. More than just an art fair, SM Art Market is a marketplace that empowers local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in creative industries. The market is a venue for entrepreneurs to connect with a wider audience and expand their businesses. At the same time, it provides grassroots-level support for local communities to help their businesses thrive.

The SM Art Market features paintings, photographs, prints, illustrations, digital art, mixed media, and sculptures from both established and upcoming Filipino artists. The market offers something for everyone, whether you’re an art collector or an art enthusiast who simply wants to appreciate art.

Continued Support for Local Artists, SMEs

SM Supermalls’ collaboration with local artists began as far back as 2019 in Baguio, a hub for artists and SMEs in creative industries. At SM City Baguio, the company held events such as Cordillera Hueniverse, Art in Bloom, Pandegka Series, and Impakabsat. Building on this tradition of championing local talent, SM Supermalls is expanding its support to artists across the nation with the launch of the SM Art Market.

Since 2019, the mall has collaborated with over 500 local artists. Some of the notable artists featured recently are Joel Ferraris, Kevin Fernandez, Nick Lanes and Joy Fernando.
