MSMEs Go Digital with Peddlr and Mercato Centrale Partnership
Food MSMEs in Mercato Centrale’s ecosystem will get access to Peddlr’s mobile app.
Tech solutions provider Peddlr Philippines Inc. has partnered with food business incubator Mercato Centrale Group to help accelerate the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly those within Mercato’s ecosystem.
Through this partnership, Peddlr is bringing its point-of-sale and analytics platform to Mercato’s food merchants.
“It’s not enough to serve great food. Our vendors need to understand operations, manage finances, and build customer relationships,” said Mercato Centrale CEO RJ Ledesma. “With Peddlr, they can take control of their business using practical and accessible tools.”
“This partnership is a vital part of Mercato Centrale’s vision,” he added.
Ledesma, Mercato Centrale General Manager Dan Aguilar, and Peddlr Head of Product Kendrick Chan and Go-to-Market Senior Associate Janri Tomioka formalized the partnership through a contract signing.
Peddlr’s Digital Tools for MSMEs
The tie-up allows Mercato Centrale’s merchants to access Peddlr’s mobile app—an all-in-one platform that streamlines operations through point-of-sale functions, inventory tracking, QRPH-enabled payments, and real-time sales monitoring. Previously available only to larger companies, the app is now accessible to MSMEs through Peddlr’s expanded rollout.
“Access to analytics changes the game for our vendors,” said Aguilar. “They can now run promos more effectively, adjust pricing, and monitor margins. It’s an essential upgrade for today’s entrepreneurs.”
Additional Training and Support
Beyond access to Peddlr’s mobile app, the partnership with Mercato Centrale also provides training and onboarding support for vendors with limited digital experience or older devices.
It also establishes a secure data-sharing ecosystem that connects Mercato Centrale directly with its merchant network. This enables more targeted initiatives and enhanced support for MSMEs.
Peddlr and Mercato Centrale plan to roll out these digital tools to more vendors across Metro Manila.
