Hyundai Inaugurates Its 38th Dealership in Dumaguete
Hyundai is on its way to reaching its goal of 45 dealerships by the end of the year.
Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) has inaugurated Hyundai Dumaguete, its 38th dealership in the country. The inauguration took place on February 27, 2025.
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place during the inauguration, which involved Hyundai Bacolod Inc. Managing Directress Aurora Evelyn Ponce, Hyundai Bacolod Inc. President Geoffrey L. Ponce, HMPH President Jiho Son, and HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete.
This is HMPH’s second dealership with Hyundai Bacolod Inc., which is under the Ponce Group. One of Hyundai’s pioneer dealer partners, the Ponce Group has received multiple awards in its 23 years, including the 2024 Hyundai Dealer of the Year and the Excellence in Service Operations Award.
HMPH Shares Statement on Inauguration
HMPH President Jiho Son shared a statement to celebrate the inauguration of Hyundai Dumaguete as well as HMPH’s partnership with the Ponce Group.

What to Know About Hyundai Dumaguete
The 728-sqm dealership guarantees an ample amount of space for clients in Dumaguete who are seeking to avail of Hyundai’s vehicles and services. The dealership can house up to four display units in its showroom, while five vehicles can be accommodated in its service area.
For those interested to view units in the showroom or have their own vehicles serviced, the dealership is located along the South National Highway, Calindagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. The dealership observes the following operating hours:
- Sales – Mondays to Saturdays (8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
- Service – Mondays to Saturdays (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
