This Airline’s New Travel Pass Offers Zero-base Fares on ASEAN Flights

The subscription product also offers other perks, such as hotel deals and even a free airport transfer in Kuala Lumpur 

AirAsia has introduced a new subscription product that offers zero-base fares on international flights to 10 ASEAN countries. The new product, ASEAN Explorer Pass, costs PHP 16,079.04 annually, according to the airline

The zero-base fares on international flights apply between the following countries:

  • Brunei
  • Cambodia
  • Indonesia
  • Laos
  • Malaysia
  • Myanmar
  • Philippines
  • Singapore
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam

AirAsia’s official website notes that the zero-base fare perk also applies to domestic flights in Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand. 

In addition to the zero-base fare, other perks that subscribers of the ASEAN Explorer Pass can enjoy include hotel discount rates of up to 50% off for international bookings and a free airport ride to or from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport using AirAsia Ride. AirAsia Ride is the company’s ride-hailing service

How to Purchase the ASEAN Explorer Pass

In order to purchase the ASEAN Explorer Pass, customers must head to AirAsia’s website or use the AirAsia MOVE app. Customers need an account to make a purchase on these platforms. 

Those who purchase their passes before May 7 will be able to enjoy the benefits of the pass from May 7 onwards for one year. Passes purchased after the said date are immediately valid for the same time period. 

It should be noted that flight bookings should be made at least 14 days in advance in order to enjoy the benefits of the ASEAN Explorer Pass.
