This year’s theme for G Summit was simply “Disrupt.” This underlines how disruption is not just a trend; Globe Business, the enterprise arm of Globe, views it as a strategic imperative in today’s digital landscape.
“Disruption is not a passing trend,” said KD Dizon, Vice President and Head of Globe Business. “At Globe Business, it is a belief system that drives us to think boldly, move with speed, and build meaningful connections with our customers.”
Dizon views disruption as an integral part of leadership. She continued, “The era of disruption demands proactive leadership. We can either wait for disruption to happen to us or be architects of disruption through bold, decisive action.”

‘Disruption Is an Always-On Mandate’
Globe Business brought together many of today’s thought leaders in G Summit Disrupt. These speakers included Terence Mauri, Founder of Hack Future Lab; Michelle Alarcon, President and Co-Founder of the Analytics and AI Association of the Philippines; and Bong Borja, Chief Operating Officer of Alorica.
Terence Mauri hailed disruption as a crucial leadership imperative. According to him, companies who are willing to challenge their own models are in the best position to thrive.
Meanwhile Michelle Alarcon discussed the game-changing opportunities of disruption. She provided a compelling vision for how data-driven thinking can fundamentally reshape businesses.
Finally, Bong Borja spoke about how his company is revolutionizing client engagement through generative AI.

During the summit, Globe Business introduced Spectrum Code, an in-app activity designed to enhance guest experience. Through this interactive feature participants were able to discover their Core Spectrum Persona, a reflection of their leadership style.
