These 2023 Trade Shows and Expos are Now Accepting Applications
Trade shows and expos are great venues for businesses to showcase their products and services. Here’s a list of those that are already accepting exhibitor applications.
Did you know that, according to the 2021 List of Establishments (LE) of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), there were 1,080,810 business enterprises operating in the country for that year? That number has definitely grown in 2022, especially since many industries have learned to adapt to the pandemic.
Moreover, in-person trade shows and expos have made a comeback in 2022, as these were previously conducted online during the height of the pandemic. Given that these trade shows and expos often come with a high foot traffic of business owners, entrepreneurs, fellow suppliers, and even the general public, these conventions have always been an opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services and get their names out there.
The new year brings a new schedule of expos and trade fairs to look forward to, and some of them are already accepting applications from those who want to take part as exhibitors.
The Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX) is the first of two food-related expos on our list. Founded in 2006, MAFEX calls itself “the country’s biggest gathering of the iconic pillars and outstanding newcomers of the food trade.” In fact, MAFBEX 2022 had a total of 232 participating companies and 400 total booths. Foot traffic reached 45,700.
This year’s MAFBEX will be held from June 14 to 18 at the World Trade Center Manila. Interested exhibitors can submit an application here.
The Philippines International Beauty Show—more commonly known as philbeauty—showcases the best of the beauty industry. This trade show has been around for seven years now and is known for bringing together the industry’s businesses, manufacturers, and professionals.
This year’s philbeauty will take place from June 7 to 9 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay. Those who would like to apply for a stall at the trade show may do so here.
The Philippine International Furniture Show is known to feature the best products—not only in furniture but also lighting, home accents, and even architecture. It is one of the trade shows that people can anticipate in the first quarter of 2023, as it will take place from March 9 to 11 at the SMX Convention Center, Manila.
The World Food Expo, otherwise known as WOFEX, has been around for more than 20 years now. According to its website, “it has consistently been the most attended and most awaited food and hospitality event—the only one that covers two simultaneous locations, the World Trade Center and SMX Convention Center.”
WOFEX features exhibitors that focus on food and beverage, food service equipment, small kitchen appliances, food packaging, and more.
This year, WOFEX will be held in five different locations, which are as follows:
- SMX Convention Center Bacolod (February 10 to 12)
- Waterfront Hotels & Casinos Cebu (April 20 to 22)
- SMX Convention Center Davao (May 26 to 28)
- KCC Mall de Zamboanga (June 23 to 25)
- SMX Convention Center and World Trade Center Manila (August 2 to 5)

The Philippine World Building and Construction Exposition—also known as WORLDBEX—gathers the best local and international companies that cater to construction and design needs. This year’s WORLDBEX is scheduled to take place from March 16 to 19.
Like WOFEX, WORLDBEX will be held in the World Trade Center Manila as well as the SMX Convention Center in Manila. Interested exhibitors may apply via this link.
